Open-air museum Veselý kopec

An open air museum of folklore buildings and crafts in Vesely Kopec presents exhibits of folklore houses which fits to this rough but beautiful landscape. The open air museum is specialized on preserving and reminding of many trades crafts which use to be essential sources of living- weaving, pottery and many more. A polygonal barn, a mill, a saw mill, a flax and fruit dryer- rank among specific monuments in Vesely Kopec. It is the only exposition of folklore architecture in nature in east Bohemia. It has been opened since 1972.
